Speaking on the television programme "Mi Manda Rai Tre" on Saturday 25th May, FIPE Deputy Director Luciano Sbraga, highlighted the damaging effects of fake reviews on both restaurants and consumers. These misleading reviews often lead consumers to make choices they would not otherwise have made, causing significant damage to restaurant businesses.

• After the last year's success, the Restaurants Day, promoted by FIPE-Confcommercio, is back for its 2024 edition;
• The values of sharing and conviviality are also at the center of the law proposal for the establishment of Restaurants Day, assigned to the X Productive Activities Commission of the Chamber of Deputies last May 7;
• Economy and hospitality are the main themes of the Event, which aims to spotlight the sector that plays a fundamental role in the growth and identity of our country.

More and more consumers are relying on online reviews when choosing which product or service to purchase. However, there are increasing reports that reviews are being published by individuals who have not actually purchased the product/service, which is very damaging both to the review process and to consumers themselves.

HOTREC ha diffuso sui propri canali social la notizia che il ristorante italiano Antica Trattoria Suban della Federica Suban, Presidente FIPE Trieste, ha partecipato al progetto pilota RESTwithEU che implementa un sistema di prenotazione digitali che riduce le mancate prenotazioni del 20%.

Dopo il benvenuto del presidente HOTREC Alexandros Vassilikos e del presidente dell’Associazione degli hotel e ristoranti ungheresi (HH&RA) Tamás Flesch, László Könnyid, CEO dell'Agenzia del turismo ungherese, ha presentato le linee principali della prossima presidenza ungherese.

Fino al 5 aprile 2024  le imprese possono partecipare al questionario dell’Autorità per le Garanzie nelle Comunicazioni riguardante il Regolamento (UE) 2019/1150 in materia di platform to business (“P2B”) e al Regolamento (UE) 2022/2065, c.d. Digital Services Act (“DSA”).

Lo dice la campagna online lanciata a ottobre scorso da FIPE Confcommercio e Hotrec, l’associazione europea dell’ospitalità e dei pubblici esercizi che riunisce 47 associazioni nazionali in 36 Paesi, e rilanciata in occasione dell'undicesima Giornata nazionale di prevenzione allo spreco alimentare,indetta per il 5 febbraio 2024 e istituita dalla Campagna Spreco Zero di Last Minute Market con il patrocinio del ministero dell’Ambiente.
