In un mondo sempre più digitalizzato, le recensioni online hanno assunto un ruolo cruciale per le attività di ristorazione. Un recente sondaggio FIPE ha mostrato che il 65,5% dei consumatori, prima di scegliere un ristorante, legge le recensioni online, attribuendogli un’importanza centrale per farsi un’idea sul servizio offerto, sulle pietanze e sull’atmosfera generale del locale.
Il 17 settembre 2024, la Commissione Europea ha presentato la Proposta di raccomandazione del Consiglio relativa agli ambienti senza fumo che si pone l’obiettivo di proteggere in maniera più efficace le persone dagli effetti del fumo passivo.
Speaking on the television programme "Mi Manda Rai Tre" on Saturday 25th May, FIPE Deputy Director Luciano Sbraga, highlighted the damaging effects of fake reviews on both restaurants and consumers. These misleading reviews often lead consumers to make choices they would not otherwise have made, causing significant damage to restaurant businesses.
- After the last year's success, the Restaurants Day, promoted by FIPE-Confcommercio, is back for its 2024 edition;
- The values of sharing and conviviality are also at the center of the law proposal for the establishment of Restaurants Day, assigned to the X Productive Activities Commission of the Chamber of Deputies last May 7;
- Economy and hospitality are the main themes of the Event, which aims to spotlight the sector that plays a fundamental role in the growth and identity of our country.
More and more consumers are relying on online reviews when choosing which product or service to purchase. However, there are increasing reports that reviews are being published by individuals who have not actually purchased the product/service, which is very damaging both to the review process and to consumers themselves.
